Situated in the heart of Berwick-upon-Tweed, 27 Art House is a shop, studio and gallery space created by the Northumberland artist Amy Izat. The shop offers a carefully curated collection of pieces that, as Amy says, “promote a healthy, holistic, positive and mindful way of living” while offering visitors a calm space to browse away from the bustle.

Beneath the surface of our gallery, a new kind of space has emerged — a quiet, light-filled studio designed to hold presence, movement, and meaning. This newly renovated room invites a range of offerings: from yoga and pilates to meditation, creative workshops, book clubs, and intimate gatherings. Just beside it, a private therapy room offers a calm, welcoming setting for counselling, bodywork, and one-on-one wellness practices. Both rooms are available to hire — created for those who hold space for others, and for those who seek connection, creativity, and care.
