Amy Izat is a Northumberland-born Fine Artist and interior stylist whose creative practice is deeply rooted in nature, personal expression, and mindful living. Trained in Art and Design at Oxford Brookes University and classically in drawing and portraiture at Falmouth and Sarum Studios, Amy brings a refined artistic sensibility to everything she does—from canvas to interiors.
Her detailed bird drawings, often inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of her rural upbringing, have been exhibited nationally, including in The Windows of the Soul exhibition in London. These works reflect a personal journey shaped by resilience, including the experience of life-changing surgery, and a deep connection to the natural world.
Amy’s creativity extends beyond traditional fine art. She is the founder of 27 Art House, a gallery and open studio in Berwick-upon-Tweed that merges art, interiors, and wellbeing. The space serves as both a platform for artists and a community hub—hosting exhibitions, yoga, meditation, and wellness events. It also reflects Amy’s eye for interior styling, blending earthy palettes and thoughtful design to create calming, expressive spaces.
